ZwickRoell moves into new UK Xperience Centre

A leading global supplier of materials testing products, which has been operating in the UK for over 40 years, has moved its headquarters to Worcester, occupying new, purpose-built premises.

ZwickRoell is a manufacturer of technically advanced testing machines and systems which are employed in a wide range of industries and academia to evaluate the mechanical properties and performance of materials and components.

The company's new facility is located on the Worcester Six Business Park and is part of its continued expansion programme creating a new HQ and customer Xperience Centre.

Universal hardness tester for instrumented indentation tests

Instrumented indentation, also known as depth-sensing indentation or nano-indentation, is an increasingly popular method of measuring the mechanical response of a wide range of materials.

The ZHU/zwicki Line universal hardness testing machine can be used both for classical hardness testing methods (Rockwell, Vickers, Brinell, ball-indentation) and for the instrumented indentation method for determining hardness plus other material parameters of metallic materials (Martens hardness, ISO 14577).

The system may be configured to perform cyclic indentation tests with increasing test load or indentation depth giving you a flexible and complete testing system.
